Dear Visitors!

First of all, sorry for such a long absence and no updates, but I had the hardest and most annoying 4 months in my whole life.
There were plenty of things to do, other than music production, so you know.. higher power took over:)

Anyway, I would like to announce you, that the main website www.markarbor.com and www.myspace.com/markarbor underwent some minor overhaulin', which resulted in a slicker look and a few addons, such as ''top10 selection''.

I've come to conclusion, that it was the time to start my own podcast. The podcast is named ''Mark Arbor's monthly top 10 selection'' and it consists of my monthly selection of the best 10 tracks in the Electronic Dance Music Industry.

The podcast will be available right here, on www.markarbor.com, but I also will upload it to www.soundcloud.com/markarbor, so no matter where you go, you'll be able to download the episode, both from here and from soundcloud. The newest episode of my monthly top 10 selection will be available for download around the twentieth of each month, so be sure to check out www.markarbor.com for pre-download or visit www.soundcloud.com/markarbor around twenty-fifth of each month for download on soundcloud.com.

AudioDrive Radio Show is an initiative, which was created to communicate with enthusiasts of electronic dance music.

It all began in July 2009, when two recognizable producers of electronic music - Dereck Recay & Mark Arbor decided to promote both new and already known producers in the EDM.

The AudioDrive Radio Show was also created for people who want to be up-to-date with electronic music issued worldwide. The show is broadcast by three internet radio stations: Pure.Fm, ODU.Fm and Slinky.fm. Music which dominates in radio show is basically a different varieties of progressive trance and melodic trance.

Dereck Recay and Mark Arbor, wanting to be in an even closer relationship with the fans of electronic music, decided to run the project AudioDrive Live, to move thewhich make their live show to move the euphoria associated with the music they played on the club floors.

The first club in Poland, where the show show will take place is ''Faberge - Made to Chill'', based in Olsztyn/Poland.

The 10th release on Unearthed Red is Luke Terry's first original solo piece released on Unearthed, in the form of Rocket Theory. Rocket Theory is a massive uplifting trance track that builds from the start with a subtle acid line, delicate arpeggios and powerful pads before smoothly dropping into a euphoric breakdown with a piano riff, epic choirs and a powerful lead. The track builds to a huge climax before letting the lead drive you through the mainsection.

First up on remix duties is Paul Miller. Paul Miller's Memories of Love remix is a stomping take on the track with a beefy kickdrum, pounding bassline and clubby feel. Miller teases in the main melody during the buildup before the breakdown where he has replaced the piano with a soothing pluck over the choirs. The hook then takes over in true reaching for the lazers style, continuing into the track in epic style.

Mark Arbor is next up, and has taken the track up yet another gear. Pounding from the outset with great percussion, drums and a strong bassline. Arbor brings in a great pad, teasing in the choirs over the new synths he has added to the track. During the breakdown, Arbor's take on the melody gently works its way in over the pads and choirs before an extra lead adds to the energy, briefly bringing in the bassdrum before the track reaches the climax, the track then carries on in spectacularly epic form.

Eric Shaw rounds up the remixes with a progressive monster. Shaw has crafted another one of his awesome basslines for his remix, delicately placing subtle synths and clever percussion together to create a great drive. Gentle vox weave in the track before the track reaches the bassline. Here, the piano riff takes over, only this time heavily reworked with some great extra notes. Soon the melody comes in, and dissapears just as quickly before the awesome bassline groove is back to carry the track once more. And before you get too attached on the awesome groove, the melody works it's way in again, followed soon by the awesome piano. A great remix.

Hello everyone!
I was asked by the Emphase Recordings management to make a remix for Abstract Vision vs. Aquile & TB - Free fall. Last week I finished the remix which will be released on June 15th, 2009 by Emphase Recordings.

Here's a little description of the upcoming release on Emphase Recordings: Russian duo Abstract Vision and Ukrainian guys Aquile & TB got into the studio together to produce great track called ''Free Fall'' which is their debut single in our label.

Aquile & TB already made a remix for our second release Matt Skyer's Lunar track, which was played at ASOT 400 by Airbase. Their work was supported already by many DJs for example Sander van Doorn, Marco V, Airbase, Judge Jules or Richard Durand.Original Mix of Free Fall is a peak time dancefloor affair with great build up, an epic breakdown and a catchy main riff.

Mark Arbor gives us the first remix. Mark is polish producer supported many times by Tiesto, Above & Beyond and Markus Schulz. This time he delivered a great rework of the track with dreamy breakdown, fast driving bassline and beautiful main part. This one is a must to have!

Dereck Recay is back to Emphase after his last Nyana's remix supported by Armin & Ferry. This time he provided us a nice uplifting atmosphere with dreamy breakdown filled up a big guitar riff and soft piano, everything based on electric pumping bassline makes massive energy to the whole track!

Last but certainly not least - Conrad S. Remix is a totally different look of the track. He changed almost everything and created great techy/electro track which will do perfect job on the dancefloor for sure! Check it out..

Hello.

Sorry for being so quiet for the past few weeks, but I've been really, really busy, packed up with few mixes to do and finally few tracks of my own!:-) BUT, let's get back to the point.

I'd like to announce to you, that my latest remix for Dereck Recay's ''Cry To The Sky'' has just been released on Dereck's EP (Proxoz Rec.). EP consists of two tracks: ''The Stars'' (Original Mix) and ''Cry To The Sky'' with 3 remixes (Anguilla Project, Front and Mark Arbor remix).

Pedal to the metal, a floorburner in the trunk – that’s Talla’s start into 2009. The first track of his new project Diskomo lifts the listener in the club mix with a quick and tremendous beat onto the dancefloor. That’s where you will stay. Noble and soothing chillout-parts harmonically join the massive sound, that does not lose any dynamic. Match it if you can. The relaxing piano-part later raises in a combination with phat and expansive synthie-parts to a mindblowing sound, that is the most intense part of the track. It freezes your blood and at the same time causes pulsation: Goose bumps and a pulse at 180. Great feeling that leeds to exhaustion. Finally - and thank god - Talla elevates his foot from the pedal.

The Mark Arbor Mix uses only a part of the wonderful piano sequence. Melody is not that dominant here – in contrast to the dance beat. The break brings a surprise: Beats are off, only synthies rule. And when then the melody comes in, it sounds even more playful than the club mix. This sound would also fit in clubs that don’t focus strictly on trance and electro.

Afternoon!

As I mentioned in the previous news entry, I've been working on two remixes lately, and one of them (Mark Baines - Circulate (Mark Arbor's Orbital Mix)) has just been released on Resonate Records.

I have to admit it, I didn't expect that, but since the release date, it has gained a huge support from many well known DJs & producers, such as: Tom Colontonio, Eddie Sender, Andre Visor, Bjorn Akesson, Daniel Kandi, Harris C, Ronny K, Lee Haslam, Pedro del Mar, 'Micheal Angello and Jim' and many many more.

I'm thrilled and it's really an honour to be promoted by such names in EDM.

This latest Resonate Records' release (Mark Baines - Circulate [RR018]) is available at almost every good online store. It includes three versions: Original Mix, Mark Arbor's Orbital Mix and Adrian Warner & Akira Kayosa Remix. Check them out! They're worth being heared!
